For the Friday! TV channel we produced a New Year CGI video titled “Friday the Salad Bowl,” featuring Brickspacer’s bear cub character alongside the channel’s panda mascot. Its warm atmosphere and playful concept made it a vivid part of the festive broadcast line-up airing as an interstitial between shows throughout the pre-holiday and the New Year holidays.
Challenge
Create a branded New Year CGI film for Friday! TV channel strengthening its communications through its mascot and an on-air interstitial format.
Solution
We developed the creative concept and produced a CG video “Friday the Salad Bowl” in which the Friday!’s panda mascot interacts with Brickspacer’s bear cub. In the story the panda tries to steal a bowl of Olivier salad — a defining symbol of the holiday season — from Mishka’s New Year table. The result was a cosy friendly piece designed for the festive television season.
Outcome
The film aired as an interstitial between shows throughout the pre-holiday and New Year holiday season becoming a vibrant part of the channel’s festive identity.
